Diana's Guitar Pick Collection!!
My eleven-year-old daughter calls herself Diana The Rocker and here's a picture of her rocking with her favorite singer, Hilary Duff. A few years ago, she commented that my drumstick collecting seemed to be a lot of fun and that she wanted to collect 'something.' We crawled on our hands and knees, flashlights in hand, through my dark, dusty attic and located the box we were searching for. It had 5 guitar picks I caught in 1977. That started her guitar pick collection. I started trying to grab picks for her at shows I attend. She even CAUGHT one herself at an outdoors concert. Weeks later, she blew away the competition at our local library where 1st graders had a display case available to exhibit their collections.
